The 3rd Darren This album is the result of a writing collaboration between TISM's Jack Holt and musician Matt Jeffrey. I have gotta say the album is a welcome surprise.
The album is wonderfully writen, played, produced and sung. Even with a singalong pub track like I Should Have Known Better (A Love Song), this isn't a TISMesque comedy/rock album. The band (as a whole) jells together well, and tracks Just Like Before, Brand New, and Edwina sound great. Here's hoping for more from The Collaborators Favorite track: Just Like Before.

David Glad to know Jock is still making music. Pretty good stuff. Favorite track: Should Have Known Better (a love song).

I get the feeling that DC was having a hard time of things when this was being made. "Market Forces" is possibly the bleakest story he's ever put out, and leaves me feeling genuinely uncomfortable and with zero faith in humanity. It's great. "Something Good" is the cure for this feeling and ultimately it holds an even bigger payoff; this is the moment when he truly took off his mask. Well, possibly anyway, maybe he was just joshing, you know what he's like. yadoog
